User Accounts

1.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must register and create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information up to date at all times.

1.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

1.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe to be in violation of these Terms.

1.4 One Account Per User

Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or subscription limits is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

User-Generated Content

2.1 Content You Submit

Our Service may allow you to create, upload, post, or otherwise submit content such as text, images, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in your User Content.

2.2 License to Life Partner

By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the Service and our business operations.

2.3 Content Standards

You agree not to submit User Content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, or obscene
• Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights of any party
• Contains unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, spam, or any other form of solicitation
• Contains software viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
• Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, edit, or remove any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

2.4 Copyright Infringement — DMCA Notice

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on our Service infringes upon a copyright you own or control, please submit a notice to us at [email protected].

Your notice must include: (i) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (ii) the URL or location of the allegedly infringing material; (iii) your contact information; (iv) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (v) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

In-App Purchases

3.1 Available Purchases

Life Partner may offer certain features, content, or enhancements available for purchase within the application ("In-App Purchases"). All In-App Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.

3.2 Payment & Billing

All charges for In-App Purchases are billed through your Apple ID or Google Play account at the time of purchase. We do not directly process or store your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple Inc. or Google LLC, and their respective terms of service and privacy policies apply.

3.3 No Refunds

All In-App Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as provided by Apple's or Google's own refund policies. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must contact Apple or Google directly through their respective support channels.

3.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change the price of any In-App Purchase at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes where required by applicable law.

Subscription Plans

4.1 Free Period

Life Partner provides free and full access to the entire Service for the first 3 months from the date of account creation. No payment information is required during this period. At the end of the 3-month free period, access to the Service will be suspended until an active monthly subscription is in place.

4.2 Mandatory Monthly Subscription

After the 3-month free period, a paid monthly subscription is required to continue using Life Partner. This applies to all features and functionality of the Service — there is no permanent free tier. The monthly subscription fee and any applicable taxes are displayed clearly within the app before you subscribe.

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis through your Apple App Store or Google Play account:

• Apple Store In-App Payments: Managed through your Apple ID. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Google Play In-App Payments: Managed through your Google account. Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each monthly billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal.

We do not directly process or store your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple Inc. or Google LLC, and their respective terms and privacy policies apply.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. You will retain full access to the Service until that date, after which your access will be suspended. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

4.5 Reactivation

If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, you may reactivate at any time by subscribing again through the app. Your account data will be retained during any lapsed period. If you have submitted an account deletion request, you may restore your account within the 14-day recovery window by logging back in and tapping the "Restore Account" button. After this window closes, your account is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

4.6 Changes to Subscription Terms

We reserve the right to modify the monthly subscription fee or the terms of the subscription at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated fee.

Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, functionality, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all other materials are and shall remain the exclusive property of Life Partner and its licensors. These materials are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Restricted Use

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on our Service or its content without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property is a violation of these Terms and applicable law.

5.3 Trademarks

The "Life Partner" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Life Partner. You may not use our trademarks in connection with any product or service without our prior written permission.

5.4 Feedback

If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other input regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you agree that we may use such Feedback freely, without any restriction, obligation, compensation, or credit to you. By submitting Feedback, you assign to us all rights, title, and interest in and to that Feedback.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using our Service:

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or any other systems or networks connected to the Service
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service
• Collecting or harvesting any data from the Service without our express written consent
• Using any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service
• Circumventing any subscription restrictions, access controls, or content filters
• Engaging in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the Service

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components
• The results obtained from use of the Service will meet your requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Life Partner and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Life Partner and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.

Upon termination by us, your right to use the Service will immediately cease and we may delete your User Content and account data. If you request deletion of your own account, your account will be suspended and permanently deleted after a 14-day recovery window, during which you may restore your account by logging in and tapping the "Restore Account" button.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the applicable jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy (available at lifepartnerapp.com/privacy-policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and Life Partner with respect to your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
